Nice breakfast, friendly and cozy. A bit fancy feel but in a nice way. Bring cash. Also, bring something to read as you might want to stay for a while

Was my neighborhood cafe. Good coffee. Perfectly fine if somewhat uninteresting decor. Good, friendly service. During one visit when I wasn't particularly hungry I noticed Rolladen on the daily menu which they had never had before. Because I'm on the quest for a properly made Rolladen, in Berlin, I decided to order. It was the best Rolladen I have ever eaten. Perfectly seasoned, tender, homemade gravy and a pickle that still had a bite. Served with the most perfect homemade Spätzle. I went back many times but they never had the dish again. Because of that it doesn't count on my "are there any good Rolladen in Berlin" list. Also had the Lachs with potato pancakes. Also very good.

What a lovely treasure to find. Thank you for such a lovely time. The Food is great and the team (especially the tall blonde woman) are very friendly and humorous. We visited Berlin this time during the Christmas time. Café Savigny was our go to place every day. Sometimes for breakfast, sometimes for dinner or lunch. We visited even on the 24th of December. Such a lovely atmosphere. Obviously lot's of regular customers make it a habit coming together with friends on Christmas there. During the Christmas days and before the waiting was a bit longer - but we didn't mind because everything get's prepared freshly. The owner came and explained us that it might need some time beforehand, but than it was actually quicker than expected.

I had fantastic coffee, and scrambled eggs with delicious bread and butter. A lovely space, with Mozart on the stereo and friendly staff. A classic café!
